Brad Oneil, CSAT-C
Program Director
Brad has been active in the addictions and recovery community since 2003 and attended Mount Royal University, receiving his Certificate in Addiction Studies.  He is currently completing his Masters in Mental Health Psychology.

Brad spent 5 years organizing and assisting with the delivery of a 4 day group therapy program dealing with Family Systems, Codependency and Addiction issues.

He worked extensively with Dr. Fred Downing who developed the family program for the Meadows Treatment Centre in Wickenburg, AZ. and later in private practice specializing in Family of Origin issues and Abuse.

Brad has been involved with the delivery of addictions based programs for young offenders and works with youth and adults who are re-integrating into society after incarceration.

Brad develops and delivers Stage 2 recovery workshops, works One on One with individuals and is experienced in Interventions.

In addition to his work with Recovery Calgary, Brad facilitates groups for a private Addiction Continuing Care Program in Calgary and volunteers his time to provide mentoring for youth and adults struggling with addictions as well as facilitating 5th steps for many of the recovery houses and treatment facilities in Calgary.



Peter Sheridan, Recovery Coach
Pete started his career as a RCMP officer and was stationed in various communities throughout Saskatchewan. He left the force to pursue a career in Real Estate.  During that time he became active in politics and served as the Executive Assistant to the Minister of Environment and Minister of Indian and Metis Affairs.

Pete became involved in the recovery community in 1992 and since that time has displayed his passion for working with young people by working with youth and young adults with alcohol and drug problems.

He is certified as a  facilitator in a group counselling process called the Solution Group and has attended many addiction workshops and courses over the last 20 years.

Pete is active in the Life Recovery ministry at Central United Church, taking on a leadership role as well as counselling and doing 5th steps for many of the recovery houses in Calgary.

Pete leads the Prison Ministry at Central United Church and volunteers as a mentor at the Calgary Young Offenders Centre as well as mentoring youth after their release into the community.  He also teaches Literacy and Parenting in the Calgary Remand Centre.

Pete has an association with the Calgary Drug Treatment Court and works closely with the case managers and various treatment facilities.  He sponsors several young men in recovery, guiding them through their recovery and working their steps.  Over the years Pete has conducted many Interventions, worked On one One with people and facilitated numerous groups.


Thomas Beach, Recovery Coach 
Thomas has been active in the recovery community for several years. An accountant by training, Thomas has given up the business world to help people break free from addiction.

Prior to coming to Recovery Calgary he worked for a local residential treatment centre. When he isn’t busy facilitating our treatment program, Thomas volunteers his time working with United Way and is one of the organizers for Recovery Day Calgary.

Thomas is also very active in the Recovery Ministry at Central United Church mentoring people who are struggling with addiction and providing guidance to help them with their recovery programs.
